Imposter Intensive
A deep-dive 3-session coaching intensive for smart, capable women who are no longer prepared to feel like a fraud in the rooms they have earned the right to be in.
Own Your Ability
Own Your Confidence
Own The Room
You've worked hard to get here. So why does it feel like everyone's about to find out you're not good enough?
The Imposter Intensive is a focused 3-session coaching package for business owners who are growing, stepping up, or levelling up, and feeling like a fraud at the next level.
You know you need deeper work than the typical advice. You’re beyond simply collecting evidence, believing in yourself more or faking it until you make it.
It doesn’t feel safe to be seen at this level and you can’t understand why.
Logically, you know you’ve earned your place at the table or on the stage, but you’re still expecting someone to challenge you or ask you who you think you are to be saying what you’re saying.
You’re afraid of failing and being seen to fail. And at the exact same time you’re scared of succeeding and what that entails.
You feel trapped by your success and scared of failure.
Nothing feels safe so you’re backing away from your brilliance, deferring to others, declining opportunities to speak or to show up. You might be about to walk away from the opportunity you’ve worked for months or years to get yourself ready for and now that it’s here, the voice inside is telling you you’re not really good enough to be here, and you should probably go back to what you were doing before and not get too big for your boots.
You don’t feel comfortable describing yourself as an expert or a specialist.
You haven’t yet stepped into being at this new level and you’re doubting your ability to do it, despite overwhelming evidence that you’re more than capable.
You’ve got a deadline that you need to feel ready for, but your imposter feelings are rising and you’re at risk of backing out.
It’s time for action. It’s time for the Imposter Intensive
3 sessions 1:1 to tackle each of the 3 factors causing the feelings of being a fraud:
Updating your beliefs about yourself, your ability, your readiness to perform and your perception of being judged by others
Updating your identity so that you own the authority that your experience has given you
Feeling expansive enough to grow, rather than the pain of staying small and undervalued
And a deeper understanding and appreciation of why your mind created these feelings in the first place
That’s what The Imposter Intensive gives you.
What’s not working?
You might be pushing through. Over-preparing, working twice as hard as you think you should have to, just to feel like you're keeping up.
It looks like it’s working from the outside, but inside, you are exhausted.
You know logically that you’re capable, but the self doubt just isn’t shifting.
You’ve tried typical methods for overcoming anxiety, but this feels different, more personal and like there’s more at risk.
People might have told you that you’re brilliant at what you do but it just refuses to land, you brush off compliments, deflect praise onto other members of your team, cry after you’ve given your keynote speech, waiting for someone to knock on your door to correct you about something you said.
The very thing you wanted no longer feels like the prize you thought it would, because you can’t stop feeling like a faker who is about to be caught out.
It’s time for this feeling to stop, for you to fully believe in your authority, to confidently own the identity of yourself at this level and grow into the opportunity you’ve created for yourself.
Why me?
Because I’ve lived it - and I’ve studied it.
I’ve worked in high-stakes environments, including air traffic control in the RAF, where staying calm under pressure wasn’t optional and feeling like I’d winged my way through training left me feeling every bit the imposter.
I’ve worked in the field of anxiety and fear for over 25 years and hold both a BSc (hons) and an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science where I specialised in studying performance anxiety and fear in skydivers, and positive flow states in elite level cyclists, combining physiology and psychology to enhance performance.
I’ve been a mindset coach for national level athletes with such self-doubt and imposter feelings that they didn’t want to leave the changing rooms to take to the pitch before high level matches.
I’ve run a sports science performance lab, where confidence and body-brain connection were everything and seen how the mind-body connection works in both directions.
And I’ve coached hundreds of women through periods of change and transition where the need to grow personally was essential and daunting at the same time.
I’ve represented myself at a land registry tribunal, holding my ground against a barrister and a full legal team, winning the case and demonstrating that ‘difficult women’ are not be trifled with.
Most importantly, I’ve advocated for my child against doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, educational leaders and felt so out of my depth despite my personal experience, research and knowledge of his rare condition, expecting to be told at any moment that I didn’t know anything and to get back into my place.
The Imposter Intensive brings together my full toolkit: neuroscience, behaviour change, emotional regulation, resilience psychology, and wraps it up with real-world, walk-with-you support.
This is where science meets soul. And where self-doubt is shown the door.
The Imposter Model
A lot of the time I feel as though the techniques applied to imposter feelings are little more than victim blaming; the person who feels like an imposter is made to feel like they need to ‘fix’ their feelings.
Often some of the cause is due to the culture of the organisation in which you work.
When you run your own business, or work with a high level of autonomy though, you can still feel like an imposter. And it’s costing you, in real profits, and in multiple other ways.
Having worked with hundreds of coaching clients in this area, I developed a model which is the basis for my work in around anxiety, fear and imposter feelings.
I’ve taught this model to other coaches and been asked to write a book on my findings… watch this space
I’m not guessing at what might be going on. We work together to skillfully uncover, work though and change the feelings, the stories, the beliefs and the attitude to your imposter feelings in an elegant, well developed, trauma-informed way, that works.
As well as the Imposter Intensive, I offer a more in-depth package, and we can discuss this before you choose the coaching package that is right for you.
A typical 3 session package will look like the example below, and will adapt to your personal situation. We will use a range of trauma-sensitive therapeutic and coaching techniques, depending on your experiences, initial results and neurodivergence, as some techniques are more effective than others with different people.
Session 1 — Fear
We start where everything else starts: with the fear itself. We name it, we map it across your specific situation, and we begin the process of meeting it with something other than resistance. Most clients describe this session as the first time they have ever actually looked at what is happening rather than trying to push through it. You leave with clarity on what your fear is protecting you from, and why that once made complete sense. This will make moving forwards easier.
Session 2 — Belief and Identity
We work through the imposter model in your specific context; the stories running about your audience, your worth, your right to be at this level. We look at where your identity is stuck in an older version of yourself and begin the process of stepping into the next one. You leave with a clearer sense of who you are becoming, and what has been getting in the way.
Session 3 — Growth and What's Next
We consolidate the work, map your growth edges, and build a simple framework for using the impostor feeling as a compass rather than a brake going forwards. You leave with a personalised action plan for your current growth challenge, and a clear sense of how to work with fear rather than against it from here on.

This is for you if:
You’re tired of feeling dread before meetings, presentations or conversations
You’re growing your business (or career) and the more you grow, the louder the doubt becomes
You logically know you’re good enough but you just don’t feel it
You are going through a period of growth or change and feel like you haven’t yet fully stepped into the new identity at the level you’re now at, whether that’s new prices, a new audience, a new offer or something else
You know the feelings of being an imposter or a fraud are holding you back from taking action, being visible or speaking up and may be stalling a launch, a speaking gig, a rebrand or a pitch as a result
You are ready to face the hidden fears that are driving your imposter feelings rather than managing it on the surface
You want to stop feeling like you need to work twice as hard as you should just to keep up with your self-imposed expectations
You are able to invest time and energy into change (this isn’t magic - it’s action)
