Braver Together
The group coaching experience for high-achieving women who have had enough of being ambushed by your emotions at the moments that matter most
Next cohort begins Monday 22nd June - 30th July 2026
You know the moment…
The presentation where you know your material inside and out - and your mind goes blank the moment you clear your throat to begin.
The interview where you are the most qualified person in the room - and your body decides to run its own agenda and sweat from absolutely everywhere.
The conversation that needed your authority - and you deferred to someone less qualified than you to answer.
The opportunity you prepared for, worked toward, genuinely wanted - and then quietly found a reason to avoid.
You’re not lacking confidence.
You are being ambushed by your own nervous system at the exact moment it matters.
It’s not a mindset problem.
It is a biology problem, and it has a precise scientific explanation that I can show you, that will stop you feeling like an imposter in situations that you’re capable of being in, and enable you to get back to doing what you do best.
Why women need something built specifically for them
Braver Together is built around the female nervous system, rather than retro-fitting male models onto a distinctly different foundation. Most models assume that women follow the same patterns as men when they’re under stress. But we don’t. Which is why the information we are given about how to recover and feel confident under pressure doesn’t work for us.
When women are together, we are powerful. And it isn’t just psychological safety that we feel, our nervous systems can heal, learn and feel safer when surrounded by other women, even in the online space. If you want to say goodbye to being ambushed by your emotions in the most high stakes moments, you need to do it in a way that works with your body.
You don't do it alone.
And you don't do it by becoming someone you’re not - or by being perfect, or being humble while also being excellent, or trying to shine, but not outshine others, or by second-guessing every email, call and action you take.
The standard advice to push through, breathe, think positive, just be more confident, has hit a ceiling. You already know this, because you have tried it.
You are smart enough to have tried everything, and experienced enough to know that trying harder is not the missing ingredient.
What has been missing is the explanation. And without the explanation, you can’t make sense of it, so you end up feeling helpless to stop the cycle. It feels out of control, and scary. And because you don’t feel in control of it, the pattern is able to overwhelm you.
This is for you if you want to feel like yourself even in high-stakes moments - with the confidence your mind won’t go blank, you won’t leak sweat from every pore of your body and you won’t feel like an imposter, because you absolutely know that you have every right to be where you are.
“We are braver together. We have always been braver together. ”
Why me?
Because I’ve lived it - and I’ve studied it.
I’ve worked in high-stakes environments, including air traffic control in the RAF, where staying calm under pressure wasn’t optional.
I’ve run a sports science performance lab, where confidence and body-brain connection were everything.
And I’ve coached hundreds of women through periods of change and transition where everything felt like it was falling apart, and turned them from a challenge into a breakthrough.
Braver Together brings together my full toolkit: neuroscience, behaviour change, emotional regulation, resilience psychology, and adds the magic ingredient - other women.
This is where science meets soul. And where self-doubt is shown the door. And you feel fully supported so you don’t have to be brave on your own.
Why Together?
This programme is designed for women’s nervous systems.
When we are dealing with difficult emotions, it can feel like working one to one is the only way to go deep enough to resolve them. But this isn’t true, especially for female nervous systems that are designed to work socially. Being witnessed as being a whole, good person who is experiencing a full range of emotions, is powerful, and enables you to go deep enough to fully heal the root cause of your challenging anxiety.
This is an evidence-based programme, based on the stress response women run, not standard advice based on studies of men.
This is why Braver Together is a group programme. Because for this specific type of work, with women, the evidence points toward a group process as being more powerful than working in isolation.
You have been managing your anxiety alone, in every high-stakes situation you have walked into, for a very long time. You don’t need to struggle alone any more.
And just like when you’d be happier if your friend would come with you to the toilet in the nightclub, doing grown up things still feels better with someone making sure you don’t have toilet paper stuck to your shoe as you step out for your big moment.
Our Emotions, Weaponised Against Us As Weakness.
Shame is an emotion that has been used to keep women in their place for generations. Every time the stress pattern fires, every time your body betrays you, your mind goes blank, you find the exit from the thing you wanted, the shame compounds it. The shame tells you this is personal, this is weakness, this is you not being good enough. And society strengthens this message.
Guilt has also been used to make us feel guilty for wanting more, for wanting equality or equity, for wanting more than we started with.
When we become brave enough to be ourselves, speak our truth and stand together, without shame and guilt limiting us, we become truly powerful. And this is why Braver Together exists.
To shine the light on those emotions and let them move through without getting stuck, releasing them to where they belong, and moving forward with courage and strength.
Who is Braver Together For?
Here’s what the research shows about shame:
Shame requires secrecy to survive. It cannot tolerate being witnessed by people who understand it.
The imposter phenomenon, that persistent sense of being a fraud about to be found out, is measurably more prevalent in women than in men, and is sustained specifically by isolation and silence.
Socially prescribed perfectionism, the belief that others demand more from you than you can deliver, weakens significantly when it is named out loud in a community that recognises it.
The female nervous system heals faster in social connection than in isolation. This is biology, not sentiment.
Braver Together is built on the specific evidence that the shame cannot survive this room. That when you hear another woman describe your exact internal experience in her own words, the specific flavour of your pattern, the specific voice of the imposter, the specific shame of the gap between who you are and who shows up under pressure, something in our own nervous system shifts.
The secret loses it’s hold over you. You break through the shame enough to break the pattern with brave action. And bravery, it turns out, is contagious.
This is for you if:
You are capable, and you know it, but there is a specific category of moment where something else takes over
You have tried other techniques to curb your anxious feelings, and found they work up to a point, then hit a ceiling
You are exhausted by getting through rather than owning it
You manage the symptoms brilliantly on the outside and nobody in those rooms knows how much effort it takes
You are quietly certain this is not who you really are
You have been doing this alone, and alone is not working
This is not for you if:
You are looking for a quick fix or a hack
You are not willing to show up for the group sessions and be present in the room
You are in acute mental health crisis - I can recommend people if you need support
You want to be told that confidence is just a mindset shift away
You are not ready to do the real work
This programme requires willingness. It does not require readiness. Nobody arrives ready. That is the point.
Over 6 weeks, we move from understanding, to action and review

✺ Know Your Pattern
Week 1: The Foundation Week
You’ll find out your dominant pressure pattern, the specific way your nervous system responds under pressure. The module explains what is actually happening in your body and brain when the anxiety fires, and why willpower and positive thinking alone cannot reach the level where the pattern is running.
The welcome call invites you to share what you’d like to be able to achieve in your Week 5 bravery challenge and makes sure you’re all settled into the programme.
-
✺ Nervous System Know-How
Week 2: Understand the biology
This week explains the biology in plain language, why the female stress response fires the way it does, why it is more sensitive than you have been told, and why the tools that work for men often hit a ceiling for women. This is the explanation you were never given.
The first practical tools are introduced this week, body-based, evidence-backed, and specific to your pattern. Tools that work at the level of the nervous system rather than the thoughts on top of it.
This week’s live call is a Q&A to get your progress into gear.
-
✺ Roots of the Loops
Week 3: When did you learn these fears?
The work of this week is to begin naming the moments and emotions that built your pressure response, so that you can begin to dismantle it.
The first hot seat session brings the methodology to life. You have the opportunity to work through your pattern with Zoé in real time while the group witnesses. Seeing the work happen in someone else creates the template for what is possible in yourself.
Your private 45-minute pattern calibration session with Zoé happens this week. Personalised to your specific nervous system, your specific pattern, and your specific moments.
-
✺ Updating Your Threat Files
Week 4: Deeper Work
This week introduces more therapeutic tools, aimed at winkling out unhelpful patterns, stories and responses, and identifying what to replace them with.
I’ll introduce the fear extinction research, which shows why knowing something is irrational does not stop it feeling real, and what actually changes the nervous system's classification rather than just the story you tell about it.
This week’s live session is a Q&A where we can go deeper with your personal questions and identify any barriers to your progress.
-
✺ The Brave Thing
Week 5: Taking Brave Action
Every participant commits to doing one brave thing this week. Perhaps not dealing with your greatest fear, but something that will challenge you to achieve, and that you can be proud of yourself for completing.
You tell the group what you’ll be doing. You do it. You come back and tell us what happened.
The pre-recorded module covers performance preparation, the full protocol from the days before to the moment itself, so that when the brave thing arrives, you are ready for it rather than surviving it.
The second hot seat session is focused entirely on the brave things people are preparing for.
-
✺ Who You Are Now
Week 6: Identity Updates
You need to update your identity for the changes you’ve made to become permanent. You’re no longer someone who manages anxiety. You are someone who knows how to take brave action, that makes yourself proud and who doesn’t look to external validation for evidence of your worth.
The closing celebration will give us time to share wins, reflect on how you are handling things differently now from when you began the process and to articulate how you are different now.
I’ll share with you how you can continue to stay brave after the programme ends.

About Your Guide
I built this programme because I kept seeing the same pattern, mainly when I was running retreats or memberships for groups of women. These fabulous women would be able to make such incredible progress with their lives when the environment and the group was right.
The methods were gentle, and yet so effective, and the safety created by the group allowed them to feel held enough to do the deep healing work and access their deeply hidden strengths.
I took to the research to confirm my observations that something deep was happening during these experiences, and have created this programme based on all of my previous work, with this new layer adding nuance.
My background spans air traffic control in the RAF, sport and exercise science, sports therapy, psychology and education. I have worked with athletes, skydivers, executives and neurodivergent learners - anyone navigating the combination of capability and pressure. I am trained in IEMT (a therapeutic technique useful for working through trauma and past experiences) and I bring together physiology, psychology and the specific research on the female nervous system that the coaching world has largely failed to engage with.
I am also a wife, a mother of two neurodivergent children, a cold water swimmer, and a person who knows from the inside what it means to be capable of more than your nervous system is currently letting you access.
I do not say "just push through it." I know why that doesn't work. And I know what does work, especially for women.
I’m a performance scientist, researcher, therapeutic coach and IEMT master practitioner. I’m also a yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator and mindfulness coach. Your mind, body and soul are in safe hands.
✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
No. This is coaching and therapeutic methodology applied to a specific pattern in a specific population. It is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If you are in acute mental health crisis, please seek the support of a qualified mental health professional. I can refer you if you need support. If you are managing a diagnosed anxiety disorder and wondering whether this work is appropriate for you, contact Zoé to discuss before enrolling.
-
Because most coaching works at the cognitive level, on thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours. This work operates at the level of the nervous system itself, using approaches including IEMT that can reach the identity-level and emotional patterns that cognitive approaches cannot. The research on fear extinction in women is particularly relevant here: the mechanism that allows the nervous system to update its threat classifications is less efficient in women than in men, which means cognitive reframing has a structural ceiling. This programme works at the level below that ceiling.
-
All live sessions are recorded and available in the resource library within 24 hours. The programme is designed so that participants who miss occasional sessions can catch up without losing the thread. If you anticipate missing a significant portion of the live sessions, please contact Zoé before enrolling to discuss whether the timing is right.

Yes. You can pay in two instalments. Click the payment button and the pay in full and pay in two options will both appear.

Nobody arrives ready. Readiness is the thing the programme builds. What is required is willingness, willingness to show up for the sessions, to be present in the room, and to do the work between sessions. If you have that, you are ready enough. If you want to talk it through before committing, book a fifteen-minute call with Zoé here.

If there’s something else you want to ask, email me at zoe@zoecarroll.com and I will personally reply to answer your questions.
You have been brave enough to read this far.
That means you recognised yourself somewhere in these pages, and in the exhaustion of managing this alone.
You already know this is not who you are. You are smart, capable and confident, and yet in the moments when the pressure is on, your mind and body feel like they let you down.
Let’s put a stop to that so that you can do all of the things you' truly want to do, without anxiety spoiling your fun.
You don’t have to carry this alone any more. You don’t have to feel ashamed of feeling like an imposter, or like you don’t fit. I’ve got the science and the skills to change this, and I’m bringing together a room full of women on the same journey because women are, and always have been, braver when we are together.
Braver Together is where the magic happens, and we are about to open the doors!
The next cohort begins on Monday 22nd June 2026.
The cohort is capped to ensure everyone gets what they need. When it is full, it is full.
